SOMMAIRE DES FONCTIONS
Le titulaire du poste planifie et assure la numérisation du matériel à valeur patrimoniale
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS
- Analyse et évalue les demandes de numérisation.
- Définit les cheminements de travail et contribue au développement de nouveau flux de travail.
- Assure la qualité technique de l’ensemble des opérations, effectue la calibration du signal vidéo pour chacun des transferts et vérifie la qualité du matériel-source.
- Effectue le transfert du matériel archivistique.
- Assure le bon fonctionnement des équipements.
- Fait des tests de contrôle de qualité, analyse les problèmes rencontrés et propose des solutions pour y remédier.
- Travaille avec les équipes techniques internes lors de problèmes de nature techniques pour fournir un diagnostic de tout problème audiovisuel ou technique rencontré, au besoin.
EXIGENCES DE L’EMPLOI
- Études collégiales en cinéma, montage vidéo ou l’équivalent.
- Minimum de deux ans d’expérience en post-vidéo, particulièrement en numérisation.
APTITUDES RECHERCHÉES
- Méticuleux et autonome, à l’aise en informatique, organisé, ouverture à l’apprentissage
- Concentration soutenue et capacité à travailler longtemps sur un même sujet
- Tact et diplomatie
- Capacité à s’adapter aux changements technologiques

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
The incumbent plans and carries out the digitization of heritage material.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes and evaluates digitization requests.
- Defines the workflows of activities and contributes to the development of new workflows.
- Ensures the technical quality of all operations, calibrates the video signal for each transfer and verifies the quality of the source material.
- Performs the transfer of archival material.
- Ensures the proper functioning of the equipment.
- Performs quality control tests, analyze problems encountered and propose solutions to solve them.
- In cases of technical problems with materials, where needed, works with internal technical teams to provide a diagnosis of any audiovisual or technical problem encountered.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College studies in film, video editing or equivalent;
- At least two years’ experience in post-video particularly in digitization.
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Meticulous and autonomous, comfortable with computer technology, organized, open to learning.
- Tact and diplomacy.
- Sustained concentration and ability to work for a long time on the same subject.
- Ability to adapt to technological changes.
