Le Forum est organisé de concert avec le Nordic Genre Boost / Nordic Factory, un partenariat qui représente une évolution naturelle de la collaboration de trois ans avec l’initiative de développement Nordic Genre Boost de Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
Le Forum est un événement privé invitant 12 projets spécialement sélectionnés afin de compléter leur financement et d’avancer à la phase de production. 25 intervenants de l’industrie du film sont invités à rencontrer ces projets au courant de ces trois jours, et ce dans un environnement intime et décontracté afin de favoriser la collaboration entre les cinéastes et les experts. La programmation de ces événements inclut des sessions de tables rondes stratégiques, des rencontres individuelles et un laboratoire de développement de preuves de concept (Proof of concept).
Le Forum de financement et développement Frontières 2019 est rendu possible grâce au soutien de Finnish Film Foundation, City of Helsinki, et le Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
Le Forum est ouvert aux projets de genre de l’Union européenne et d’Amérique du Nord. Les projets doivent impérativement prévoir de finaliser leur financement, avec 50% de leur financement de production en place.

Frontières announce that the 3rd edition of its Finance & Packaging Forum will take place in Helsinki, Finland.

The Forum is organized in collaboration with the Nordic Genre Boost/Nordic Factory, a partnership which is a natural evolution of the 3-year collaboration with the Nordisk Film & TV Fond’s Nordic Genre Boost development initiative.
The Frontières Finance & Packaging Forum is an invitation-only event for 12 genre projects seeking to complete their financing and advance to the production stage. 25 industry leaders are invited to meet with the selected projects over 3 days in a closed & collaborative environment. The programme of events will include roundtable strategy sessions, one-on-one meetings, and a proof of concept development lab.
The 2019 Frontières Finance & Packaging Forum is made possible thanks to the major support of the Finnish Film Foundation, the City of Helsinki, and the Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
The Forum is open to genre projects from North America & the European Union. Projects must be seeking to close their financing, with at least 50% of their production financing already confirmed.
